Artist Biography
Darren Song is a Singaporean creative director and artist based in Melbourne, Australia. He combines his knowledge and strength in graphic design and art direction with his passion for art to produce work that sits at the intersection of art and design. His personal work involves hand-stitching with thread onto paper ephemera, reinterpreting this traditional art form through ongoing exploration in new ways of shape, form, colour and meaning. This results in vivid tactile landscapes that establish a dialogue between the past and present, giving ephemera a sense of renewal.
